Freewheel Co. is a South African cycling and outdoor gear brand. We are not trying to sell you a catalogue. We sell one thing, and we try to sell it properly.

That thing is the Freewheel Pocket Pump: a mini rechargeable electric bike pump with a digital PSI gauge and auto shut-off that fits both Presta and Schrader valves. It exists because standing on the side of the R44 working a mini hand pump with sore arms, guessing the pressure by thumb, is a bad way to spend a Saturday morning.

How we talk about gear

We only publish specifications we can verify. If we have not tested it, it is not on the page. You will not find invented inflation times, made-up battery claims or fabricated reviews here. When we do have a number, we say where it comes from — a manufacturer rating is described as a manufacturer rating.

The same goes for what the pump is best at. Mountain, gravel, commuter and e-bike tyres fill quickly because they run at lower pressures. High-pressure road tyres take longer and use more battery. We would rather tell you that upfront than have you find out on a climb.

We are a small operation, which means you get a person on WhatsApp rather than a ticket number. Delivery runs 8-11 business days via Aramex, with tracking, and returns are open for 30 days on unused items.
